On March 21st I started to have leakage & I thought it was my water & when I came to L&D to get it check it was only to be said that it was only a milky discharge & pee :( *blah* Oh & I was only a fingertip dilated. I had an appt the very same day & the DR said he wanted to induce me at 39wks which would have been March 29th but as everyone knows I successfully declined & told him that this baby was coming on his own & if he wasn’t here by the due date April 5th then we could further discuss it.

I went to work March 22nd & walked up & down the hallways of the hospital but then when I came back to work on the March 23rd I just didn’t have ANY energy. I was just guessing after a 12hr shift & me walking so muchI wore myself out.

When I got off of work 630am March 24th & went to sleep I was awoken up around 330pm to pee of course but when I hopped back into bed I heard a loud pop, sounding like a balloon popping. The 1st thing that came to my mind was “oh I am gassy so maybe that’s what it is” I layed there in bed a little bit longer & noticed I was having contractions 7mins apart. So I got up around 430pm & to try to get ready for work but I felt gush of water flow all over the bed & floor. I was very calm & just called my husband who was 30mins away helping a friend move & called my mother in law who brought me to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital I was 3cm dilated, so they started a low dosage of pictocin to kick me up a notch & boy it did :) Around the time I got to 6cm dilated, I then asked for my epidural because my contractions were 2-3mins apart. Even w/ the epidural I felt a little pressure but not much w/o. Around 4am I was ready to complete, 10cm dilated. & around 530am I stared to do some pushes. It was ssssoooo hard to push b/c my legs, hips & bottom were heavy & numb from the epidural. So I was pushing for abt 45mins then I told them to turn off the epidural & let it wear off so I can feel my self push. I really wish I had done that at the beginning of the pushing phase because once when I could feel it all I pushed him right on out w/ ease…No meds was the way to GO!!!!!

& so he was born at 621am, which makes a total of 14hrs of labor!!!

loveeebebe: Hey! I haven't seen or talking to you in a while on here.. how's the baby? I see your due any day now!

hhhheeeyyyyyy :) I have been missing in action for awhile, my bad & I had my baby March 25th :) & he doing wonderful!

21 MORE DAYS?!?! U GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!
LET THE MARCH MADNESS BEGIN…

UPDATE: Yesterday I had my 35wk check up. My belly is measuring 37wks, & that’s b/c my lil boy is big & I am 5’0 so he has no were to grow w/ my short torso, so I poke out ALOT!

Anyways, lately I have been having diarrhea, abd cramps, & back pain. :( DR gave me some meds to stop the diarrhea cause he say that it can cause contractions.  (which that I have been having & didn’t know, smh)

After the DR, I went to WalMart to pick up meds & then all of sudden my feet got super swollen. The right one was slightly larger than the left & also causing alot of pain. So I went to L&D & of course Brennon was showing off on the monitor showing his dance moves in my belly, so they released me & required that I do absolutely nothing but keep me feet up because I have edema. UGH! I am off for the next 7days, & I really don’t know what keep still is :( lol

trayona:

Its nearly 1:30am and these braxton hicks have triggered lower back pains making it hard to sleep :( Daddy offered a back rub and had me get on my yoga ball to try and ease some of the discomfort… It’s official, pregnancy isn’t fun anymore
